Overview
Temporary Systems Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator (Bilingual English / Spanish) at KPMG US. Nine-month assignment within the Digital Nexus technology organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems
- Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and address impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure; including installation and testing of new enterprise system software and hardware releases
- Work directly with users to prioritize requests and frequently update users to keep them informed of progress and estimated delivery timeframe
- Coordinate support escalation communication; participate in development and maintenance of project technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation
- Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management and escalation processes; provide on-call production support including off-hours and weekend support
- Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms
Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience operating in a large enterprise environment; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux; working knowledge of SANsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish requiredProficiency in Microsoft technologies including IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates and PowerShell; experience with VMware VSphere and Cisco UCS platform administration is a plus; strong troubleshooting using Windows OS tools (Event Logs, Perfmon, NetSH, PowerShell)Ability to automate routine tasks using PowerShell or Python; experience deploying software across a server estateExperience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and ServiceNow is a plusMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future; no sponsorship available for this roleEEO and Benefits
