Affiliate Overview

Calcilytix Therapeutics, an affiliate within BridgeBio Pharma, is developing encaleret, a negative allosteric modulator of the calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) for the treatment of Autosomal Dominant Hypocalcemia Type 1 (ADH1), a genetic cause of hypoparathyroidism. Encaleret is currently being evaluated in a Phase 3 clinical study and has received Orphan Drug Designation from the US FDA, EMA, and PMDA as well as Fast Track Designation from the US FDA. Results from the Phase 2b clinical study of encaleret in patients in ADH1 were published in the New England Journal of Medicine .

What You’ll Do

As the Director / Sr. Director, Business Development & Operations, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of our Encaleret program. You will lead strategic planning efforts and provide critical insights that influence high-impact decisions. Your expertise will help guide commercial launch readiness, modeling & forecasting, preparation of corporate materials intended for presentation, corporate development, and strategic activities. You will also partner closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain and operations, to ensure strategic alignment. Your analytical skills and industry experience will directly contribute to the company’s long-term success.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution

• Shape and communicate the company’s strategic direction through well-structured presentations that guide prioritization and resource allocation
• Lead strategic analyses for program evaluation, including discounted cash flow modeling, and secondary research (e.g., analogs research, epidemiology, claims data analysis)
• Prepare a strategy to guide the successful US commercialization of encaleret

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration at least 2-3x per week in our San Francisco or Palo Alto Office.
