Job Description : Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly motivated Fire Protection Engineer with zero to three years of experience to join our team of professionals.

You would support our Fire Protection Department in providing clients with automatic suppression system design; fire detection, alarm and mass notification system design; code analysis; egress analysis; fire resistant construction analysis; smoke control analysis; and general fire protection and life safety concepts and research.

Responsibilities

• Support the Fire Protection Department in delivering design for suppression systems, fire detection, fire alarm, and mass notification systems.
• Perform code analyses and egress analyses; participate in fire resistant construction and smoke control analyses.
• Contribute to general fire protection and life safety research and concepts for client projects.
• Engage in building and fire code analysis and interpretation; assist with project documentation and communications with clients and internal teams.
