Health Information Management Representative

This position is Onsite. Our office is located at 2925 Chicago Ave, Minneapolis, MN, 55407.

This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 4 weeks of paid on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule during normal business hours.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Reviews electronic chart documentation ensuring correct patient, location, and no duplicate information
• Manages requests for documentation and information
• Scans documents in electronic medical records
• Locates, logs, retrieves, files, and delivers medical records stored in various mediums and systems
• May train and mentor co - workers
• Analyzes documentation and tracks completion to meet regulatory requirements
• Promotes principles of health information accuracy, transparency, currency, accessibility, relevancy, and reliability
• Work with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (create, edit, save documents and spreadsheets), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
• Other duties as assigned

The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 - $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
