Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Logistics Center

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Logistics Center in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with team members and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be part of a caring and agile team that values integrity, reliability, and innovation, contributing to a secure environment while delivering outstanding communication and support.

Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $17.60 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wed 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Thur 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, observing for unusual or suspicious behavior and reporting findings in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues identified during patrols.
  • Assist with access control processes and visitor management as required by site procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support security-related objectives at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
