Role Overview
As an experienced Pest Control Technician, you will inspect properties for pest infestations, determine the appropriate treatment, apply pesticides or traps, and ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing effective solutions. You'll also maintain detailed records of your work and stay current on industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inspection & Diagnosis - Inspect buildings and surrounding areas to identify pest species and infestation levels; Measure treatment areas and estimate service costs.
2. Treatment Application - Safely apply EPA-labeled pesticides; deploy traps, baits, and exclusion measures; Remove wasp, hornet, and bee nests efficiently and safely.
3. Customer Service - Advise clients on remediation options (chemical and non-chemical); explain procedures, address questions, and recommend preventive measures; conduct follow-up visits.
4. Record Keeping & Compliance - Maintain accurate digital logs of services performed, chemicals used, and customer interactions; Adhere to safety protocols, use PPE, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
5. Problem Solving & Liability Mitigation - Develop tailored, long-term solutions for complex pest issues; ensure safe handling of hazardous products to minimize risk.
6. Professional Development - Stay up-to-date on the latest techniques, products, and certifications.
