Description :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing surface preparation equipment at customer sites across the region and beyond. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and comfortable with frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, service, and troubleshoot surface preparation equipment at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment usage and care.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Order new parts for repairs as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for creating and running reports.
• When not traveling, the technician is expected to work onsite at the Byron Center, MI shop, focusing on equipment repairs, maintenance, and rebuilds.
