Quality Supervisor

Pay Range : $32-40 (depending on experience)
(1st Shift M-F) 6 month duration, W2 Contract. Potential for extension or conversion. MUST bring 5+ years' experience in electrical assemblies / manufacturing environments with at least 4 years leading a team of Quality. Degree preferred but not required. US Citizen and US Persons allowed
Responsible for developing and setting directions of overall product quality manufacturing operations including Cost of Poor Quality, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance and part conformance. Oversee the quality function and ensure strong support to the overall product quality and manufacturing operations. Maintain AS9100 & Regulatory Certifications (FAA)
Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance and adherence to QMS and Internal audit system to meet AS9100 & Aerospace governing procedures
- Lead and direct support activities such as methods and procedures, planning and revision, gage planning and review, quality and reliability engineering, review and disposition of material variances
- Provide direction for inspection and quality control of manufactured parts and materials including all dimensional, special and vendor quality control, metallurgical / chemical analysis and laboratory control
- Manage quality inspection technicians to coordinate inspection and non-conformance management activities as required. Ensure that all products conform to specifications and meet the customers' needs and expectations.
- Coordinate quality problems with QA and Producibility Group and initiate action plans to resolve problems
- Oversee the performance & reporting of daily, weekly and monthly review of all quality KPI's.
- Work with other operating departments to resolve problems related to product design, specifications, materials, tooling and production operations affecting quality
- Work closely with all functional departments to meet short term customer requirements while implementing business strategies in support of long-term demands
- Lead the implementation of new inspection technologies that achieve process, reliability and productivity improvements
- Foster and maintain a cooperative and productive working partnership and relationship with internal and external customers and overseas sites
Qualifications :
At least 5 years' experience in a electrical assemblies / Manufacturing environment with at least 4 years leading a team of QualityExperience in training & coaching the team on Problem resolution using right quality tools.Sound knowledge in the concept of Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance initiativesEffective communication interpersonal skills.
