The 100 Black Men of Greater Cleveland, Inc (100 BMGC). is a premier African American mentoring organization committed to improving the quality of life within our communities and enhancing educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans. Our mission is carried out through the “Four for the Future” pillars : Mentoring, Education, Health & Wellness, and Economic Empowerment. Through mentoring programs, youth development initiatives, and community partnerships, we strive to make a lasting impact on the next generation of leaders in the Greater Cleveland area. This hybrid, part-time (20-hour per week) position will help the organization manage the day-to-day operations by providing general administrative support, event support, database management, and advocating for the organization’s mission.
Organizational Purpose :
The purpose of the 100 Black Men of Greater Cleveland is to implement a strategy of Health & Wellness, Economic Empowerment, Education and most important Mentoring within Cleveland’s African American community. We focus on Cleveland’s youth through the execution of our programs.
Status : Non-exempt position, 20 hours per week.
Schedule : Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed to support and attend events. This position has some flexibility in scheduling, and the ideal candidate has the opportunity to work a hybrid / onsite schedule.
Reports to : Organizational Chairman.
Essential Functions :
This position is responsible for providing general administrative support as needed, including but not limited to :
Act as a gatekeeper for scheduling and maintaining the calendar for the 100 BMGC.
Coordinate 100 BMGC tabling at community / civic events.
Assist with the production of newsletters.
