We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing and grooming
• Implement care plans tailored to each resident's specific needs
• Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity
• Ensure residents' rights are respected and upheld at all times
• Prepare meals and snacks for residents according to dietary guidelines
• Foster a safe and nurturing environment for residents
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care
• Requirements
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder preferred
• Knowledge of patient care practices and procedures
• Familiarity with nursing home or hospice care settings is a plus
• Ability to cook and prepare meals for residents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Job Type : Part-time

Pay : $18.00 per hour

Expected hours : 15 – 20 per week
