Position Summary

Rocketship DC is hiring for the part-time Family Recruiter. The primary purpose of the Family Recruiters is to support Rocketship schools in Washington DC, fill open spots, and build robust waitlists for prospective students. This position will require you to work closely with the school’s Office Manager, Enrollment Manager, and Principal to execute recruitment plans and meet goals set by the team. The ability to engage families in dialogue about Rocketship and a passion for our mission to eliminate the achievement gap is a must. Family recruiters are our faces and voice to new families and will be expected to execute their responsibilities with professionalism and a high degree of customer service.

Responsibilities

Canvassing & Community Engagement

• Ability to conduct outreach within specified recruitment areas outlined in the recruitment plan.
• This includes, but is not limited to :
• Knocking on doors and engaging with families
• Establishing connections with local community groups, businesses, and faith-based organizations
• Distributing informational materials at community events and high-traffic locations

School Tours & Enrollment Assistance

Data Entry

Feedback & Strategy Refinement

Availability & Mobility

Qualifications

Work Location

$22 - $22 an hour

Part-time role ranging between 15-25 hours per week at $22 per hour .

Compensation

Commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus excellent health and wellness benefits, 403b retirement plan, flexible spending account (FSA), and generous paid time off.
