Your Role on Our Team
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for plant quality; knowing and implementing all policies and procedures, mentoring and developing the staff, and ensuring all policies and procedures are met.This position will contribute to team efforts by participating in continuous improvement projects and coordinating lab activities as required.
You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities :
Responsible for leading and coordinating the quality team responsible for monitoring floor quality, processes, documentation, etc.Orient, train / develop, motivate, counsel and assist team members in work instructions, production standards, other documentation, and the balanced flow of work and problem resolutionPerform all related supervisory and human resource functions (work assignments, attendance documentations, incident reports, performance evaluations / counseling)Assist in production scheduling / planning, material flow, and equipment maintenance as it pertains to quality - incoming, MRB, in-process, etc.Monitor quality audits, safety reports, documentation and processes to determine cause of issues / problems and ensures necessary corrections are performed to maintain standardsDevelop and maintain effective working relationships within the quality and plant team environmentAssign work and special projects to team members to develop work experience and flexibilityRequisition resources (supplies, tools, etc.) and expedite as requiredContribute to team effort by performing related tasks as needed to assist in overall goalsOther duties and projects as determined by production and business needsThe TOOLS you'll bring with you :
Bachelor's Degree and minimum of two (2) years' experience or equivalent experience in a production environment is preferredPrevious experience with machine shop, stamping, assembly, or plastic injection molding environments a plusMust have excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated knowledge of quality systems and techniquesExcellent problem solving skills and familiarity of basic quality tools (SPC, Root Cause, Auditing, etc.)Ability to understand and use work planning skillsMilwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
