Valle Vista Health System features individual units for adolescents and adults, and offers inpatient acute care, and variety of outpatient services at multiple locations. Summary :

The Peer Recovery Specialist is to provide non-clinical training, support and education to patients and family members that serve as an adjunct to direct clinical services and enhance patient's personal pathway to recovery.

Education / Licensure : High School Diploma required. Degree preferred.

Experience : Lived personal experience and one year in recovery from a substance use disorder, serious mental illness or both.

Additional Requirements : Credentialed as a Certified Health Worker, Certified Recovery Specialist or Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach.

Additional Information : This is an hourly full-time day non-exempt position.
