SS119 Senior Engineer

ADNET Systems, Inc. is looking for a Senior Engineer to support the Planetary Magnetospheres Lab at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. The candidate will support and develop the next generation of flight magnetometers.

Required skills / experience :

• Development and assembly of flight hardware, flight cables and harnesses, control electronics, field work instrumentation, and test fixtures.
• Qualified as ESD supervisor to maintain flight certification of Lab benches and monitoring systems.
• Installation of flight hardware on spacecraft in a clean room environment.
• Testing of flight hardware, including vibration, thermal vacuum, electromagnetic interference / compatibility, magnetic screening, and bench testing.
• Magnetic screening of spacecraft and associated equipment in clean room environment.
• Rapid prototyping through 3D printing and Solid Works development.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (LPR) required, with US residency for the past 3 consecutive years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 Investigation through NASA.
