OTB Management & Forecasting
- Establish purchasing guardrails for Upfront and ATS buys in the wholesale channel, tailored by category and account to ensure strategic alignment and inventory efficiency
- Align assortment planning to OTB budgets / constraints to ensure profitable inventory and support category growth strategies
- Create model stocks, forecast monthly sales and place strategic reorders to support ongoing demand and maintain optimal inventory levels in core and always-in-stock programs.
- Create life cycle for seasonal products, monitor in-season performance and recommend actionable strategies to optimize inventory and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with customers to report sales and track monthly / quarterly budgets and performance.
Raw Material & Inventory Planning
Collaborate with overseas partners to ensure timely procurement and allocation of materials across divisions.Create and manage calendar for downtime knitting and raw material procurementAnticipate material / yarn needs based on demand forecasts and production timelines, minimizing risk of shortages or excess.Oversee the negotiation with suppliers to optimize raw material pricing resulting in cost savingsCross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Planning teams to align on revenue goals, margin targets, and inventory strategies.Provide financial insights and planning support during seasonal line reviews, account meetings, and executive updates.Engage regularly with account teams to understand and influence open-to-buy (OTB) forecasts, identifying category opportunities and risks, and making promotional recommendations.Reporting & Analysis
Analyze sales trends, inventory health, and shipping performance to inform future planning decisions.Create seasonal hindsight reports and be prepared to discuss findings and future recommendations.Analyze sell-through rates at the style and account level to assess product performance.Use insights to recommend reorders, markdowns, or inventory reallocation.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or related field.7+ years of experience in wholesale planning, merchandise planning, or inventory management.Strong analytical and Excel skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Benefits
