Senior Data and AI Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Data and AI Systems Engineer to lead the integration of data and AI systems for a digital assistant in the K-12 education sector.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data integration pipelines using Databricks lakehouse architecture

Develop automation for secure, multi-tenant data architectures with Unity Catalog

Deploy and optimize agentic APIs, integrating large language models and vector search capabilities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field

3+ years of experience building enterprise-class systems in Databricks

Proficiency in AWS cloud services and MLFlow for machine learning workflows

Hands-on expertise with large language models, vector search, and agentic API development

Experience with secure, multi-tenant data architectures and privacy controls, preferably using Unity Catalog
