Legal Assistant - Judgement Department

RAS LaVrar, LLC is an elite creditor’s rights law firm.  We provide full-service litigation and collection services to the nation’s largest banks, credit issuers, and debt buyers. We have offices in eight states and employ over one hundred people.

As a Legal Assistant, you will have the ability to monitor internal processes resulting in ensured compliance with all client, legal, and regulatory requirements.  This is an incredible opportunity for anyone looking to help increase the effectiveness of the firm’s compliance structure.  This is an entry-level position and we will train, but some fundamental office skills are required. Job Responsibilities :

• Focuses on mastering basic high volume processes including clerical tasks, document review, impediment clearing and form drafting
• Precisely documenting accounts
• Clearly communicates the legal progress of accounts

Education

Physical Functions

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of time; constantly operates a computer and other office machinery; employee is regularly required to verbally communicate, listen and give presentations as needed. Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel.

Work Environment

Works generally at a desk in a well-lit, air-conditioned cubicle / office, with moderate noise levels.

8am to 5pm ( 1 hour lunch )

OR

8 : 30am to 5 : 30pm ( 1 hour lunch)

OR

9am to 6pm ( 1 hour lunch)

Office days ( Monday to Fridays)
