Civil Litigation Attorney

Overview

A full-service Snohomish County law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney (4862) to join its team in Everett. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to manage their own caseload, gain exposure to a broad range of matters, and grow within a collegial environment. The firm represents a diverse mix of businesses, nonprofits, and individuals and values responsiveness, high-quality work product, and practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
• Provide day-to-day counseling and risk mitigation strategies to clients
• Manage client relationships and ensure timely, effective communication
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues while maintaining autonomy over cases

Additional benefits include medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, 401(k) with matching, LTD / LI, paid parking, and negotiable vacation. Billable hour target is 1,500 annually. This is a primarily in-office role in Everett, though limited hybrid flexibility may be available after an initial integration period.

Compensation

The firm offers two compensation tracks : 1) Salary / Bonus Model - Base up to $120,000 with strong bonus potential (most attorneys exceed $200,000 annually). 2) Receivables Split Model - Straight 50 / 50 split with no salary cap (average billable rates between $275–$475 / hour).
