Schedule : Part Time, 24 hours a week
Shift : Wednesdays 12 : 00pm - 8 : 00pm, Thursdays 12 : 00pm - 6 : 00pm and Fridays 7 : 30am - 5 : 00pm, w / 1-2 Saturdays a month 7 : 30am - 2 : 15pm, off on Thursday when working a Saturday

The role you'll contribute :
Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider).Administrative duties :
Use computer applications. May include, but not limited to : EMR, Microsoft Word, and ExcelAnswer telephone callsUpdate and file patient medical recordsChecking in patientsSchedule appointmentsClinical duties :
Escort patients to testing and exam rooms, measure vital signs and records all information in patient's chartCollect and prepare laboratory specimensPhlebotomy; Prepare and administer vaccinations as directed by a physicianExplain testing to patientObtain all test results for each patient, and alert physician of abnormal resultsPerform other related duties, as assigned or requestedThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
Minimum qualifications :High school diploma or GED requiredMust be currently certified and maintain certification by one of the following :American Association of Medical Assistants ("AAMA") for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA)American Medical Technologists ("AMT") for Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)National Center for Competency Testing ("NCCT") for National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)National Healthcareer Association (NHA) for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)American Registry of Medical Assistants ("ARMA") for Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer dateThis facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
