TEACHER, ELEMENTARY, ELA-S BILINGUAL SPANISH REQUIRED - K-5TH GRADE

Applications will be received by DPS. The position requires Spanish-English bilingual instruction at the elementary level, combining language development with core subject teaching in an inclusive learning environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality, differentiated instruction to students whose primary language is Spanish.
• Foster English language acquisition while supporting academic achievement across subjects.
• Develop competence and confidence in students through a balance of basic skills and conceptual understanding.
• Monitor and reinforce positive student conduct in line with school and District policy.
• Observe, evaluate, report, and record students\' performance, behavior, social development, and health.
• Communicate with parents / guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve behavioral and academic issues.
• Prepare educational outlines, objectives, and materials per curriculum guidelines or state / local requirements.
• Present subject matter using varied teaching methods and technology, adapting to individual learning styles.
• Participate in extra-duty activities as outlined in the teachers\' collective bargaining agreement (e.g., coaching, tutoring, summer programs).
