Job Summary :

Medical Assistant must be motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive manner. Must have the ability to communicate and work with a diverse population. Maintain patient records, prepare examination rooms before physicians or nurses need them, assist with exams, complete assignments such as blood drawing, coding administering medications and taking.

Task Responsibilities :

• Include but are not limited to :
• Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Greet and check in in patients arriving at the clinic. Prepare patients to be seen by provider.
• Prepare treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assist practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care.
• Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Prepare and administer medications for patients as directed by provider.
• Run P.O.C. tests as requested by the provider and collect and prepare lab specimens.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies. Requirements :
