Director, It Business Relationship Management
At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. Smith+Nephew is seeking a Director, IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) to represent our Advanced Wound Management (AWM) business globally. This leadership role is responsible for partnering with senior business stakeholders to identify, shape, and deliver technology strategies that accelerate growth, efficiency, and innovation.
The Director will lead a small team of 24 Sr. IT Business Analysts, guiding them in developing business cases, quantifying hard and soft benefits, and translating strategic objectives into executable technology roadmaps. This is a business-facing, strategic rolenot a technical architecture position. The ideal candidate is a technology generalist with the curiosity to understand emerging technologies, a proven ability to manage complex stakeholder expectations, and a track record of driving value-based outcomes in a global, matrixed environment.

Education : Undergraduate Degree
Licenses / Certifications : (Preferred but not required)
Certified Business Relationship Manager (CBRM) or BRMP
Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-ACP
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or Platform App Builder Certification
What will you need to be successful?
7+ years in IT strategy, Business Relationship Management, or Sales Enablement.

Communication Excellence : Skilled at simplifying technical topics and articulating business value to executive audiences.
Business Acumen : Deep understanding of business processes and commercial operations within the medical device or healthcare industry.
