Hiring for a Maintenance Electrician

Hours : 7am-3 : 30pm M-F

Pay : 35-40 / hr

Job Description

This unique position involves reading and interpreting design prints, assembling equipment as per the prints, designing electrical diagrams, troubleshooting automation equipment, and diagnosing and fixing faults to maintain existing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret design prints for equipment assembly.
• Design electrical diagrams and panel layouts using 2D AutoCAD Electrical software.
• Specify electronic and pneumatic components to develop Bills of Materials (BOM) for controls.
• Build well-organized and labeled control systems.
• Modify and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs, including Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, and Panel View controllers.
• Assemble, maintain, calibrate, and inspect automation control systems.
• Maintain Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications.
• Troubleshoot and modify PLC logic to support the development of new equipment.
• Maintain and update documentation for automated equipment, such as electrical schematics and panel drawings.
• Provide timely resolution to technical issues related to instrumentation and automation control systems.
• Evaluate the performance of both automated and manual assembly equipment to optimize performance.
