Property Manager 2, G-22
The incumbent will assist the Property Manager 3 with supervising two Property Manager 1 positions and will assign and track tasks associated with the 47 lease contracts. Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Supervise the tracking and maintaining of the lease expenditures log by the Property Manager 1.
- Delegate job duties associated with obtaining quotes and estimates for special request projects; report back to Property Manager 3 with routine updates on the progress of projects.
- Track the accuracy of the submittal process by the Property Manager 1 position regarding the processing of invoices to vendors and landlords for payment through the Statewide Financial System.
- Manage office relocations and renovation work.
- Assist the Property Manager 3 on new office layouts for relocations as well as modifying existing layouts for lease renewals with regards to operational needs while complying to building codes, local ordinances, and ADA compliance.
- Work with Human Resources and Bargaining Unions on health and safety concerns / resolutions at offices; take on the role of DMV Health and Safety Officer.
- In the absence of Property Manager 3, help resolve lease compliance issues in conjunction with OGS.
- Work closely with the Office of Information Technology Services on the installation of IT equipment.
- Supervise and track the Property Manager 1 security alarm and surveillance systems coordination activities.
- Resolve daily service calls for building issues including HVAC, plumbing, telecom, network, security, leaks, pest control, etc.
- Manage space planning assignments from Property Manager 3.
- Manage lease renewal projects.
- Manage special projects assigned to the DMV lease unit.
- Occasional mandatory overtime and travel throughout the state, including weekends and evenings.
To be eligible for the Property Manager 2, G-22 position you must meet one of the following conditions as detailed below :
In a G-20 or higher title that meets criteria for reassignment or 70.1 transfer.Open Competitive Qualifications : Seven years of professional experience performing office and field duties directed at the construction, acquisition, rehabilitation, and maintenance of office space in agency-owned or leased properties utilized in agency operations. One year of the experience must have been at a supervisory level.Hours of the position will be discussed at the time of interview, including questions regarding Flextime, AWS / Compressed work week and Telecommuting.
