Service Metal is a nationwide Master Distributor of industrial pipe fittings, valves, and flanges. We are hiring a Warehouse Manager to join our St. Louis team and lead daily operations in our 130,000 sq. ft. warehouse with 11,000+ bin locations.

Role Summary This is a full-time, on-site, salaried position. The Warehouse Manager collaborates with a co-manager and directly leads a team that includes Leads, a Logistics Coordinator, and Warehouse Associates. Together, you'll ensure safe, efficient operations and top-tier service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost control
  • Plan labor needs and adjust staffing based on demand
  • Lead and mentor a team to achieve performance goals
  • Oversee inventory processes and drive improvements
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Investigate issues and implement corrective actions
  • Track and achieve key performance metrics

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years warehouse management experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (real-world experience valued)
  • Proven results in safety, quality, delivery, and inventory goals
  • Experience with ERP / WMS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
