Job Title : Registered Nurse – Trauma / Operating Room

Location : Miami, FL

Pay : $39.57 to $53.34 / Hour + Benefits

Position Type : Full-Time

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM, Rotating Weekends)

Position Summary :

The Registered Nurse – Trauma / OR provides high-quality nursing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process, therapeutic use of self, and collaboration with the healthcare team. The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for patient care, ensuring safety, quality, and compassionate service in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct nursing care to trauma, burn, surgical, or acute care patients.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments per physician orders.

Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.

Document patient care, interventions, and progress accurately.

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications :

Active Florida RN license or recognized compact RN licensure.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

BLS certification (current or obtained within 30 days of hire).

ACLS certification (current or obtained within 30 days of hire).

Minimum 2 years of trauma or acute care experience, including OR or trauma unit.

Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
