Provide compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care.Assess patient's health status, manage comprehensive medical care, and advise patients on preventative measures.Precept residents in the clinic, maintain accountability for assigned resident attestation notes, and provide oversight in patient appointments.Teach and train resident physicians and medical students in Family Medicine.Evaluate residents using competency-based / milestone evaluations and act as an advisor for assigned residents.Assist in developing and delivering an engaging learning curriculum and environment.Participate in faculty development activities, faculty meetings, and program committees.Serve on committees, including the Program Evaluation Committee, Clinical Competency Committee, and others as required.Qualifications :
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)Board Certification by ABFM or AOBFMValid Georgia State Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure CompactCurrent D.E.A. CertificateNo restriction from participation with Medicaid and / or Medicare programsPreferred : FQHC / CHC experience, prior teaching experience, experience working with medically underserved populations, experience with Meditech EMR, bilingual in Spanish / English.Physical Demands and Work Environment :
