Responsibilites

• Plan, supervise, and implement learner focused curriculum in accordance with our anti-bias practice as well as our Reggio inspired child-centered philosophy
• Intentionally prepare and design the environment with each child's interest in mind.
• Focus the curriculum to the needs of individual children interests, abilities, and lesrning style
• Maintain ongoing documentation of each child. Conduct parent conferences

Preferred knowledge and qualifications

Knowledge of physical, cognitive, emotional, and social characteristics of 3-5 year olds

Abililty to plan and implement appropriate explorations

Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing

Classroom management skills

Thoughtful, nurturing and a sense of humor

Qualifications

Preferred BA or AA in ECE or related field

Bilingual a plus
