Human Resources Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist Contractor to support our fast-paced manufacturing plant. This hands-on, on-site role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in an industrial environment and is passionate about supporting employees, leadership, and strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and documentation.
• Manage incoming / outgoing HR mail and route correspondence appropriately.
• Administer the “Win Right” employee recognition program.
• Support administrative tasks related to LOA, worker’s compensation, and accommodations.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries.
• Guide employees on using the HR Connect system for help cases.
• Assist in resolving basic employee issues and escalate complex matters.
• Provide policy guidance to plant leadership and ensure consistent application.
• Support HR transformation initiatives and self-service process rollouts.
• Mediate workplace issues and coach supervisors on documentation best practices.
• Facilitate frontline leadership training sessions.
• Coordinate internal job postings and assist with recruitment processes.
• Support onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00 / hr.
