Systems Administrator

Overview

ECS is seeking a Systems Administrator to work in our King George, VA office. This position supports a cybersecurity program for a DoD client based in Dahlgren, VA. This position requires a minimum Top-Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support as a Systems Administrator for a DoD environment that supports a cyber warfare enclave.
• Available 24 / 7 / 365 for scheduled and unscheduled outages.
• Work within an Agile Framework.
• Use AWS GovCloud / SC2S / C2S, Kubernetes, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x / 8.x, Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2 / 2012R2 / 2016 / 2019, and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Manage WSUS and RHEL Satellite server, patching for RHEL and Windows servers, PKI authentication.
• Utilize Tenable Nessus / Security Center / ACAS; follow DoD STIG / SCAP compliance.
• Work with Microsoft Windows Desktop 7 / 10 / 11, Microsoft SQL 2008R2 / 2016 / 2019, and Configuration Management Protocol & Guidelines.
• Perform requirements analysis & mapping; install, maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and support servers.
• Work with VMware vSphere / ESXi, Elasticsearch, and understand loosely coupled architecture; knowledge of Web, Application, and Database layered structures.
