Community Support Specialist - Direct Support Professional- Flex shift

We have immediate openings for Community Support Specialists in the Washington Region (Gates, Camden, Pasquotank, Hertford, Perquimans, Bertie, Chowan, Martin, Washington, Tyrell, Dare, Pitt, Beaufort, Greene, Wayne, Lenoir, Jones, Craven, Pamlico, and Hyde counties).

Pay Rate : This position starts at $18.03 / HR along with a $500-$1K Sign on Bonus.

We have a variety of schedules, shifts, and locations available. In addition to Full Time opportunities, this is a great opportunity for a student or anyone looking for a 2nd job.

Acting as the first line of support to the amazing people and families served by The Charles Lea Center, you will work and communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging tone, to support others to take steps on their journey to independence.

Your Role : Our Community Support Specialist works under the general supervision of the Program Manager. Your skill set provides for the health, safety, accountability, supervision and training for people supported in the community. In this role you will assist people supported in all aspects of Community living, enabling people supported to be as independent as possible.
