Overview

Position Summary… What you’ll do… Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and / or in writing e.g., customers, suppliers, associates. Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety). Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and / or analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, standards and procedures; monitor associate compliance; distribute and maintain procedures and supporting documentation. Identify associate, customer, and / or supplier concerns and determine corrective actions or recommendations to resolve. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance and providing feedback, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching and evaluation of associates and leaders. Build a high-performing, inclusive workplace and culture of belonging; attract and retain talent; act with integrity and uphold Walmart values; serve customers and communities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor productivity and analyze business reports; maintain quality and safety standards; ensure training on policies, procedures; monitor compliance; maintain procedures and documentation.
• Identify concerns and determine corrective actions or recommendations to resolve.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders; assign duties; coordinate workloads; provide feedback; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation.
• Support a culture of belonging; build trust and collaboration; communicate with impact and energy; motivate and influence.
• Attract, develop, and retain talent; recognize contributions; act with integrity.
• Deliver results with customer focus; apply EDLP and EDLC models; make data-driven decisions balancing short- and long-term priorities.
