About the Role of CFM Engineer :
The CFM Engineer role is at the heart of our site operations team, ensuring seamless performance of electrical, mechanical, and fire / life safety systems supporting over 20MW of critical IT capacity around the clock. Responsibilities include planning and executing preventative maintenance, handling repairs, and responding to emergencies, under the guidance of the CFM Chief Engineer and Facility Manager. You will also address general facility management tasks from building inspections to maintaining a pristine work environment.
Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to lead small-to-medium scale projects from start to finish, collaborating with engineering, controls, logistics, and construction to execute projects. You will procure quotes, draft procedures, and ensure all work meets safety, security, and integrity standards for our customers. As the primary liaison with vendors and service providers, you will ensure adherence to safety and environmental protocols while delivering excellent service to 5C.

About the CFM Team
Critical Facilities Maintenance (CFM) is the onsite team that maintains power delivery, cooling, and general building infrastructure to ensure continuous 24 / 7 customer services. The CFM team maintains equipment including Electrical Switchgear, UPS, Transformers, Batteries, Generators, Chillers, Air Handlers, Fire / Life Safety Equipment, and more. The team supports growth through new installations and capital projects and works alongside controls engineers, project managers, business development, logistics, construction, and security personnel.
