Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior UX Researcher on a contract basis to help elevate our user-centric initiatives and ensure we continue innovating in how we serve our customers.

Position Overview

As a Senior UX Researcher at NRG, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing research activities that inform and guide product and service design decisions. Your insights will directly influence how we build intuitive, meaningful experiences for our users. While your primary focus will be on research, the ideal candidate will also have some background or familiarity with UX design principles—a plus that will help translate research findings into actionable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead User Research Efforts : Plan and conduct various qualitative and quantitative research studies (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys) to gather actionable insights.
• Synthesize Findings : Analyze and interpret data to create clear, concise reports and presentations that inform product strategies and design decisions.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate user insights into every stage of the product lifecycle.
• Champion User Advocacy : Act as the voice of the user within the organization, ensuring that user needs and perspectives are always front and center.
• Methodology Development : Continuously refine and improve research methods to gather the most relevant, high-quality data possible.
• Mentorship & Guidance : Provide guidance to less experienced team members and help foster a culture of user-centered design.
