Job Description

Develop and implement manufacturing process improvement programs for the company.

• Improve manufacturing methods; modify processes to improve safety and product quality, and / or reduce costs through lean initiatives
• Plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow; design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
• Work collaboratively with Design and Purchasing team to develop product design and tooling processes to ensure efficient production methods
• Support new valve and product launches through production using production launching tools and processes (i.e., APQP / PEP, PFMEA, Mistake – Proofing, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, DFM / DFA, etc.)
• Establish new and improve existing prep, assembly, and test processes continuously
• Utilize statistical process controls to monitor production processes
• Streamline new product development projects
• Design new and improve existing assembly fixtures
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager
• Lead and supervise the team to drive improvements to First Pass Yield, Productivity and more.
