We’re currently seeking an eCommerce Web Developer to join our Headquarters team!

The e-Commerce Web Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining mistercarwash.com to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Works closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to implement innovative solutions supporting a growing sales channel. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail along with strong organizational abilities, effective communication skills, and a focus on achieving business objectives through effective use of technology.

What You Will Do :

E-Commerce Platform Development

  • Develop and maintain e-commerce websites using platforms such as Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, or custom hybrid solutions.
  • Customize themes and templates to enhance our experience and interface.

Integration & API Management

  • Integrate third-party applications, payment gateways, and fulfillment services.
  • Work with APIs to connect backend systems with an e-commerce platform.

    • Performance Optimization

  • Monitor website performance and implement optimizations for speed and efficiency.
  • Ensure website security and compliance with best practices.

    • User Experience (UX) Enhancement

  • Collaborate with UX / UI designers to create intuitive navigation and layout.
  • Conduct A / B testing to improve conversion rates and user engagement.

    • Troubleshooting and Support

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the e-commerce platform.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to staff as needed.

    • Analytics and Reporting

  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics (GA) to track user behavior and sales performance.
  • Generate reports to help inform marketing strategies and product offerings.

    • How You Will Shine :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Proven track record as an e-commerce developer or in a similar role within agile development teams.
  • Extensive experience designing and building modular, scalable distributed systems with considerations for Byzantine fault tolerance.
  • Deep understanding of parallel processing, asynchronous communication, and system architectures optimized for eventual consistency.
  • Skilled in performance analysis, identifying cost / performance trade-offs, and selecting optimal algorithms for scalable, high-performance applications.
  • Proficient in front-end and back-end technologies, including CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Python, with hands-on experience in frameworks such as React and Angular.
  • Hands-on experience with major e-commerce platforms like Shopify and Magento, as well as integration with various payment gateways.
  • Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, and S3, as they relate to e-commerce infrastructure.
  • Well-versed in SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies to enhance online visibility and conversion.
  • Creative problem solver with a demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
