Opportunity Snapshot :

Responsibilities
Oversee site contractor construction activities during Execution PhaseCoordinate with subcontractors to maintain and coordinate safety and QA practices and assist in preparation of schedules for subcontractorsAssist the Maintenance projects and Turnaround Supervisor with planning, monitoring, and coordinating the execution of all field activities by a contractorForward looking professional, able to advise and assist contractor in executionProvide the interface between the work face and the Maintenance projects and Turnaround SupervisorProvide construction core competency to Project Team and advise contractor of upcoming challengesEnsure good communications and relations with the contractors.Develop Early Career ProfessionalsChampion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractor and among Project Team members.Supervise contractor personnel and ensure all Safety Health and Environmental procedures and policies are followed.Provide safety monitoring / leadershipAssist contractor in construction planningServe as day-to-day interface with contractor and craft labor during the Construction Phase, providing a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule.Interface with QA / QC personnel to address quality issues / progressProvide oversight of contractor's materials management / verification systemsEnsure compliance with specifications, procedures, and plans.Monitor workforce productivity and progress relative to schedule.Monitor environmental compliance, as requiredInterface with contractor for field level changes, e.g., scope, costs, etc.Verify post-site arrival of procured equipment and engineering equipment.Provide on-site support for Work Management System (Permitting, JSA Reviews, LOTO, etc.)Provide support to commissioning / systems completion as requiredCoordinate Quality Audits and other site surveillance activitiesPerform other duties as requestedQualifications
Minimum of 10 (15+ preferred) years site experience in all aspects of construction; Civil, Structural, Mechanical / Piping, Scaffolding, Electrical and Instrumentation and Controls, Insulation / Painting, etcExperience desired in the following areas : Marine environment, Hot and Cold Taps, and Pile installationGeneral computer skills and experience working with MS Outlook; PowerPoint, Word, ExcelAbility to communicate clearly verbally and in writingValid driver's LicenseFamiliar with OSHA 1910 – Occupational Safety and Health Standard and OSHA 1926 Standards – Safety and Health Regulations for ConstructionMUST have Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card or be able to obtain within 30 day of hiringAvailability to work beyond 40 hours. weeklyHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredThe Bergaila Way :
