Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to handle a variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves independent troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of commercial mechanical equipment including RTUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, and more. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in diverse environments while delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Install, service, and maintain HVAC mechanical equipment.
Diagnose system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
Perform equipment startups and verify performance.
Conduct system inspections and routine preventative maintenance.
Carry out quality assurance checks to confirm repairs meet standards.
Troubleshoot automation systems, hydronic setups, and DX cooling circuits.
Provide technical support and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
Must hold and maintain a Universal H / CFC certification.
Experience servicing a wide range of systems including RTUs, boilers, chillers, AHUs, MAUs, pumps, cooling towers, VAVs / FPBs, and fans.
Strong knowledge of hydronic systems, direct expansion circuits, and related components.
Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to work independently.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade school or formal HVAC training is a plus.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to work indoors, outdoors, and in noisy, dusty, or hazardous areas.
Must be able to work in confined spaces, elevated locations, and other challenging environments.
Frequent climbing, balancing, squatting, kneeling, and crouching required.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Adherence to all company safety policies and protocols is mandatory.
