Security Professional Financial Patrol Unarmed

As a Security Professional Financial Patrol Unarmed in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 08 : 45 AM - 05 : 15 PM

Tue 08 : 45 AM - 05 : 15 PM

Wed 08 : 45 AM - 05 : 15 PM

Fri 08 : 45 AM - 05 : 15 PM

Sat 08 : 45 AM - 02 : 15 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues.
  • Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed.
  • Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Follow all company and client site protocols while performing duties.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
