Pulmonology Opening in Pennsylvania Located in Erie, PA Full-time, permanent opening Hospital-employed 458-bed hospitalAn integrated global nonprofit health enterprise and one of the country's premier health care networks, is expanding its team in Erie, PA. The pulmonology team is seeking a motivated pulmonologist to join the Comprehensive Lung Center. As a member of the team, you will work alongside a nationally recognized physician for applying minimally invasive techniques for reach detection of lung cancer and specializes in managing rare genetic forms of COPD. Candidates must be fellowship trained in Pulmonary and BC / BE. Interventional pulmonology skills would be an added plus. The physician will be expected to participate in multidisciplinary conferences, quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the teaching of medical students and residents. Sleep physicians include Neurology training. Pulmonary operates five days / week. Pulmonary inpatient Hospital Consult service operates seven days / week. Pulmonary procedural work includes : Robotic Bronchoscopy / EBUS / Debulking / Cryo.
