Cost Accountant

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Apply and analyze cost standards for materials and labor.
- Design and implement cost accounting processes and controls.
- Analyze and collect data to determine cost standards.
- Prepare and analyze production costs and recommend changes.
- Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, and action.
- Conduct periodic reviews of standard costs, work closely with operations to resolve errors and make recommendations.
- Assist in the month-end close of the general ledger.
- Run ad hoc reports as requested, and perform financial analysis as needed.
- Assist with ongoing ERP implementation and system enhancements.
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PROFICIENCIES :
