• Nights (Rotating Weekends) Position Overview This position plays a critical role in delivering patient-centered, high-quality perioperative care to trauma patients. The ideal candidate will bring proven trauma OR experience, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to work in high-pressure situations. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to trauma patients in the operating room using the nursing process and critical thinking skills Monitor and respond to patients’ conditions throughout surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain surgical asepsis and comply with safety protocols, infection prevention, and hospital policies Serve as patient advocate throughout the operative experience Qualifications License : Registered Nurse (RN), Florida or Compact (per FL licensure requirements) Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire Experience : Minimum 2 years of trauma OR experience in an acute care hospital setting Other Requirements : Must live within 30 minutes of the facility due to on-call obligations – this is mandatory Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay : $39.57 – $53.34 (based on years of experience; max at 17 years) Sign-On Bonus (SOB) : May be offered on a case-by-case basis 885438 About First Connect Health At First Connect Health , we take pride in being a Joint Commission–certified healthcare staffing agency , headquartered in Newark, New Jersey.
