We are looking for a General Manager of MRO for our Americas nacelle service center. This position is responsible for overseeing the strategic, operational, and financial performance of a $200M+ P&L in the Americas region. The role includes responsibility for strategic planning, operational execution, financial commitments including cost management, employee safety and cultural transition, proposal capture and site development.
This role will be located onsite in Foley, AL. Relocation assistance available.
What You Will Do
- Manage site operations to align with business objectives, KPIs, and compliance and safety standards.
- Develop and implement capacity plans, product and process capabilities, and continuous improvement activities.
- Oversee P&L performance across customer programs.
- Lead cross-functional teams and drive execution in a dynamic operational environment.
- Coordinate across North, Central, and South America teams with consideration for regional differences.
- Collaborate with OEM counterparts while maintaining an MRO-specific operational identity.
- Support facility upgrades and site improvements.
- Lead bid-to-proposal activities and contribute to commercial strategy development.
- Define and deploy the strategic plan for the MRO business.
- Manage leadership team alignment and execution against business goals.
- Report on financial and operational performance to Aftermarket leadership.
- Identify risks and opportunities and implement related actions.
- Deploy company culture, tools, and procedures at the site level.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience.Experience managing P&L and / or participating in bid-to-proposal processes.Background in operations and / or business development within an aerospace environment.Knowledge of aerospace structures.Qualifications We Prefer
Experience working in an aerospace MRO environment.Experience working in engineering within an aerospace environment.Experience with nacelle or composite structures and related repair processes.Experience interacting with customers.Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).Experience presenting in group settings and communicating across organizational levels.Familiarity with regional cultural norms and working across different countries.What We Offer Benefits
