In the role of Area Professional Services Manager, you'll be a key leader in the Texas Gulf Coast operation, providing leadership and mentoring across our organization. We'll count on you to :

• Be responsible to the Area Manager to develop, coordinate, monitor and improve technical competencies of area staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers
• Lead and monitor development and training of area staff in technical and business competencies
• In concert with Area Business Group Managers, oversee workload balancing and coordination of work-sharing, to ensure qualified staffing of project teams
• Assist with daily operations, such as project oversight, management reviews, financials, and driving profitability at the project level
• Lead quality assurance efforts to implement QA / QC Program activities striving for continuous improvement
• Support and assist Area Business Development Leads in driving client management plans
• Lead and monitor activities for continuous improvement including development and use of technical standards, procedures, best practices and lessons learned
• Lead and participate in project reviews and support project teams with management of claims and losses
• Lead the Area mentoring initiative
• Oversee technical and digital delivery evolution, in collaboration with subject matter experts
• Work with AM to streamline and coordinate business processes consistent with Area and corporate policies
• Oversee and ensure implementation of quality, standards, and best practices
• Be involved in community activities and serve as an outward facing HDR Ambassador
• Collaborate with Area operations, market sectors, business classes, and delivery leaders
• Participate in Area strategic planning and plan implementation across all business groups
• Support area activities related to hiring and retaining key staff
• Serve as a champion for BGX opportunities
• Support communication and coordination within all business groups
• Serve as the local leadership representative for quality and support the implementation of the Quality Management System
• Supervises the Area Quality Records Coordinator, overseeing the administration of Area's quality local processes.
• Work collaboratively with Regional and National Professional Services Directors to align Area Operations and Project Delivery with HDR and Industry Best Practices.
• Serve as Technical Director and / or Quality Control Manager for large, complex projects / programs.
• Perform other duties as needed in conjunction with the Area Manager
