LHH is partnering with an industrial client in the Oklahoma City, OK area to fill a Senior Accountant position. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead and manage key accounting functions. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting critical processes such as month-end close, audits, inventory management, and intercompany accounting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and manufacturing experience and a collaborative mindset suited to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare annual audit schedules, provide supporting documentation, and coordinate responses to auditor inquiries.

Maintain the general ledger through timely journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Execute and support close activities including accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement reviews.

Manage accounting for fixed assets including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.

Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations.

Process and monitor PO and invoice workflows in compliance with company policies.

Track and reconcile inventory balances, investigate variances, and ensure accurate valuation.

Utilize ERP for accounting operations, reporting, and process optimization.

Identify and implement improvements to accounting workflows and internal controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).

Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control principles.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical problem-solving skills.

Manufacturing experience highly preferred.

Proven experience in audits, month-end close, fixed assets, inventory, and intercompany accounting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present to leadership.

Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
