Description

We are looking for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join our team in LaVergne, Tennessee. This role involves managing and optimizing Ubuntu servers, ensuring system security, and leveraging automation tools for streamlined operations. Ideal candidates will possess strong scripting skills and expertise in analyzing system logs for actionable insights.

Responsibilities :

Install, configure, and maintain Ubuntu servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Monitor system resources, network security, and overall system health.

Perform regular upgrades and patches to enhance functionality and resolve security vulnerabilities.

Interpret and analyze system logs to provide meaningful insights and solutions.

Configure and oversee Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) for network-based software deployments.

Troubleshoot server issues and implement effective resolutions.

Assess and refine infrastructure systems to improve efficiency and performance.

Develop automation solutions using Ansible for system deployments and routine administrative tasks.

Create and maintain scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python to automate processes and boost operational efficiency.

Administer system backups and ensure data integrity while supporting disaster recovery processes.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator, with a focus on Ubuntu servers.

Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Preboot Execution Environment (PXE).

Strong understanding of system logging and the ability to derive actionable data from logs.

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible for system orchestration.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python for administrative tasks.

Solid knowledge of system security protocols and disaster recovery procedures.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
