Overview
CrowdDoing Deliberative Democracy Training Manager Volunteer job at M4A Foundation. El Dorado Hills, CA.
CrowdDoing is aiming to address democratic deficits through deliberative democracy approaches. This process can enhance decision-making for groups including global multi-national companies with dispersed and multilingual workforces, as well as organizations with regionally concentrated teams. Deliberative democracy helps reduce the risk of decisions being driven by top-of-mind opinions and supports stakeholder buy-in, providing a data-driven basis for choices that might otherwise be shaped by anecdotes and impressions.
You can see a research paper by CrowdDoing Founder on deliberative democracy. Deliberative democracy is a technique to prevent democratic deficits vis a vis stakeholders for important decisions, including governmental decisions, proxy voting decisions for shareholder democracy, or multi-institutional decisions for collective action.
