Security Officer - Industrial Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol - Full Time in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone onsite. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues within the facility.
  • Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
