In this role, candidates will need to be proficient in all Level I duties and highly proficient debt collector. The successful candidate will have the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Essential Duties ? Highly proficient debt collector, with an ability to use sound judgement to plan and accomplish goals in a consistent and compliant manner ? Assists members with their financial needs by identifying PCU products and services, or other debt counseling services as appropriate ? Collaborates with Financial Centers and Call Centers to effectively resolve member issues ? Responsible for the management and control of assigned manual and auto dialer queue(s) ? Recommends to management the disposition of delinquent loans for small claims court, repossession, credit revocation, field investigation, or legal action per established guidelines. ? Performs skip-tracing to locate skip members ? Thorough understanding of policy & procedures related to area of responsibility ? Provides training to new team members ? May assist with department reporting and projects as required ? Meets and occasionally exceeds goals ? Works under general supervision with limited decision making authority within established guidelines ? Support management decisions and implement directives as required ? Has authority to waive up to $150.00 of fees ? Other duties as assigned Functional Competencies ?
