Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-8 educational institution is seeking a skilled Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for the 2025-2026 school year. This position is itinerant and based in person, providing specialized support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. The role is scheduled for 20 hours per week, running from August 15, 2025, to June 5, 2026.

Responsibilities include :

• Delivering individualized and small group instruction tailored to the unique munication and learning needs of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to support student achievement and access to the general curriculum
• Developing and implementing appropriate educational plans and acmodations
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
• Providing consultative services and resources to staff and families regarding hearing impairments
